Works with Nikon EN-EL15C batteries

I use a Nikon Z5 II, which can charge its battery internally, but this external charger is far more convenient. It works reliably, feels well‑made, and saves wear on the camera’s USB‑C port. No complaints so far. In practice, I usually only need to charge one battery at a time because my photo-hobby sessions are short, but it’s nice knowing I can charge additional batteries whenever needed. You may notice in some product photos that the WATSON logo shows a bit of color. The front logo behaves like a diffraction grating, so colors appear at certain viewing angles. My unit also has a manufacturing code on the back: “GG1” over “RY0725.” I purchased the charger in December 2025, so the “0725” portion may indicate a July 2025 manufacturing date. Since the charger outputs 600 mA and an EN‑EL15c battery has a 2280 mAh capacity, I'd expect a fully depleted battery to take around four hours to charge. I don't run my batteries all the way down, so my charge times are shorter.

Fine For Slow Charging, Small Form Factor

Nice Small Form Factor And Since It Uses USB C, If You Travel, You Already Are Taking USB C Power Cables And Wallwort. That's The Good Side. Th Bad, Although I Had It Hooked To 35W Supply And More Than Capable Cables, I Don't Think It Pulled More Than The Old Minimum Standard Of 5W (I Did Not Measure). It Also Seems If You Put Two Batteries In At A Time, At Least For Me, Both Displays Lit Up, But It Seems To Only Charge One Battery At A Time. So This Could Be Improved, But For Simple Travel, It's Nice And Small.
