Insta360 CINSBBKF Overview

Easily switch your GO 3 action camera between various camera mounts using this Quick Release Mount from Insta360. The GO 3 camera mounts on top of the quick release mount using a strong top magnet, and it secures using a double-locking quick release design on two sides.

The bottom is equipped with a 2-prong action mount that folds down to reveal a 1/4"-20 mounting thread, making it compatible with a myriad of tripods and selfie-sticks for stabilized or handheld setups. The durable design keeps it securely mounted, and anti-slip rings are included to prevent movement.

Too easy to release

While it is understandable the release buttons need to be on its side, the buttons are way more protruded than both the GO 3 camera and its docking body. Imagine the GO 3 is mounted on a selfie stick, when the camera is bumped on its side, the GO 3 will be ejected instantly. To attach the GO 3 docking body, you need to push it quite hard to have both sides securely clamped. Extra force is needed if you are using the mount with the camera alone. This is not as intuitive as the bundled tripod clamp which requires almost no force to clamp the camera. This mount is full metal, very solid build, and very pocketable. It is good for mounting the camera at a stationery point. While the mount support 2-prong mounting option and turn it like a GoPro, I won't recommend anyone mounting it on selfie stick or any moving bodies. It is too easy to have the camera ejected.
