The tray-less and tool-less Dual-Bay 3.5/2.5" SATA Drive Duplicator from StarTech not only functions as a standalone drive duplicator, but may also be used as an external drive dock. For standalone duplication, it features two SATA III drive slots, one of which is for the source drive and the other of which is for the target drive, with data transfer speeds of up to 28GB per minute. SATA III, II, and I interfaces are supported, as are 2.5" and 3.5" form factors. When used as a drive dock, it connects to your host system using a 10 Gb/s USB-B 3.2 Gen 2 interface. Also featured are power and status multi-functional LEDs. Included are USB-B to USB-C and USB-B to USB-A cables, plus a universal power adapter.

It also features drive doors to help stabilize drives that are inserted into the slot and prevent foreign objects from getting into the drive slots. LED indicators let you know, at a glance, the current state of the duplication process, including the specific duplication mode, the HDD status and clone progress.
