The Black Box Emerald Zero U DisplayPort KVM-over-IP Transmitter is a compact transmitter designed to extend DisplayPort video and USB control over standard TCP/IP networks. Supporting visually lossless video up to 1920 x 1200, it enables secure remote access to centralized workstations while maintaining a responsive desktop experience for media-rich applications.

Operating with bandwidth requirements under 40 Mb/s, the transmitter integrates into the Emerald ecosystem and supports Share Mode, allowing multiple receivers to access a single source simultaneously. Power is supplied via dual USB Type-A connections or an optional external DC adapter, and SSL-encrypted transport ensures secure communication in data-center environments.
