Aside from the sensor pixel count, can someone summarize the main differences between the A7C2 and the A7CR?
Asked by: NICK
The file size is the main difference between the Sony a7C II Mirrorless Camera and the Sony a7CR Mirrorless Camera. The II has an ISO range of 100-51,200 and extended to 50-204,800. The R is 100-32,000 extended 50-102,400. The A7CR has the Pixel Shift Multi Shooting function. The II does not have that feature. The A7C II has 759 phase-detection points covering 94% of the sensor surface, while the A7C R has 693 points distributed across 79% of the sensor area. In burst mode, the II shoots at 10 fps, while the R shoots at 8 fps.
