B&H says that there is image stabilization. Other sources claim that there is no stabilization. Which of these two is correct?
Asked by: Yuri
Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II Lens (Sony E) does not have built in image stabilization. Most wide angle zoom lenses do not have built in IS. If you will be shooting videos handheld is recommended to match the lens with a camera that has built in Sensor-Shift, 5-Axis.

I hear a "klonking noise" when the lens is moved slightly or rotated (connected to camera or not). Is that normal?
Asked by: Stefan
The klonk noise/wiggling you'll feel when you move the lens around is normal. Those are the glass elements and auto-focusing mechanisms you are hearing/feeling. If you tried to wiggle the lens while it's connected to a camera that's powered on. You'll notice that you wouldn't hear or feel it. You can only hear the noises when it's not connected to any power.
