The iConnectivity PlayAUDIO1U is a USB-C audio/MIDI interface designed to provide seamless switching between two computer setups for musicians, bands, and audio engineers in concert venues and live stage applications. It supports resolutions up to 24-bit / 96 kHz and is class compliant for plug-and-play operation.
With two USB-C ports for simultaneous connection of two computers, the interface offers a powerful redundancy/failover protection system. Should your main computer fail, PlayAUDIO1U seamlessly switches to the backup computer—so fast that you and your audience won't even notice. Switching can also be done manually via the OLED touchscreen or a footswitch (available separately) connected to one of the Control In ports.
The PlayAUDIO1U features twelve balanced XLR-M output connectors and one stereo 1/4" TRS headphone jack. A front-panel, USB-A port allows for easy connection of MIDI keyboard controllers and/or sound modules. There is also a 5-pin DIN MIDI interface on the front panel and an RJ45 port on the back panel for MIDI-over-Ethernet functionality. Both MIDI and audio routing is preserved when switching between computers. PlayAUDIO1U ships with the Auracle software for quick configuration of the interface.

- Integrated 48V phantom-power protection on XLR outputs prevents accidental damage when plugging the interface directly into consoles or stage boxes
