The PS-20 Power Supply from Telex is a versatile power supply that can be used for installed applications. The slim chassis can be mounted in a standard 19" equipment rack for convenience and versatility. The unit features an XLR program input, four XLR RTS primary outputs, and two 1/4" outputs on the rear panel, and an XLR RTS monitor output on the front panel. A small speaker on the front panel also provides monitoring functionality.
The power supply can be used for audio linking, intercom channel connections, and more. The front panel offers a level control and a channel selector knob that lets you choose channel 1, channel 2, or both. There are also LED status indicators for channels 1 and 2. The rear panel lets you choose between CC, RTS/2, and RTS/4 modes, and also lets you switch the impedance between 200 and 400 ohms.
Styled in black, the Telex/RTS RTS BP-325 is a 2-channel portable beltpack station designed to work in conjunction with RTS Two-Wire intercom systems and the appropriate, dynamic headset mic. It facilitates conversations across the air-waves in one of two fashions: you can either hold down the Talk button—which instantiates momentary mode, allowing you to remain inaudible when you're not pressing the button—or, conversely, tap the Talk button a few times, which will occasion the mechanism to latch into an ever-on position. Be advised, if you instantiate latching mode, everything you say will be heard until such time as you turn it off.
This unit also sports the ability to send out a call signal, should you need page someone on one of the two provided channels. Likewise, you might also find yourself paged; in this case, the red call LED will flash, presenting you with the opportunity to speak with the person courting your attention.
The RTS BP-325 also features a sidetone adjustment control for changing the level of your own voice in your discrete pair of headphones whilst talking. The unit supports mono and stereo headsets, and there's also a separate connector for monaural carbon-mic headsets. Furthermore, the RTS BP-325 sports the ability to generate an inaudible signal which can effectively "kill" the ongoing signals of unattended intercom stations.
The Telex PH-88R5 is a lightweight, single-sided intercom headset with a dynamic, noise cancelling boom microphone and a padded, adjustable headband. The semi-rigid gooseneck microphone boom is fully adjustable and easily positioned, and the earpiece features a moleskin covering for a comfortable and secure fit. The headset cable connector is a 5-pin XLR male type.
