Controls are too sensitive for cycling

I loved the sound quality of these Bluetooth adapters - that gets 5 stars. However, the controls are designed to be touch-sensitive. That gets 1 star. So, overall, 3 stars. The touch-sensitive controls are nice in theory, but in practice (for me), don’t work. I am a daily cyclist, and multiple times during every ride, I experienced unpredictable volume changes, left adapter disconnects, and occasional distortion. After much troubleshooting - including trying a second GO pod and engaging GO pod Support - I determined that the problem must be the touch-sensitive controls. My helmet strap or buff must be brushing the controls occasionally - this was much worse when I was sweating. A quick test with an inexpensive Chinese no-name brand with mechanical (clicking) buttons worked without issue (though also with inferior audio quality), confirming that it was the controls. I now use a FiiO UTWS5 2025, which has buttons and which has not had a single issue.its 2/3 the cost of the GO pods, and the audio is good. This was about a six-week ordeal for me, so I offer this experience so others are aware.  B&H was professional and helpful, and are good to work with. My complaint is about the technology of these adapters meeting my needs.
