Producers and content creators alike can easily scale their storage needs to save video clips, photos, and music with the robust and flexible OWC Gemini 2-Bay Thunderbolt 3 Raid Enclosure.

Providing you with two 2.5/3.5" drive bays, you can easily install a variety of HDDs or SSDs, allowing you to scale your storage in accordance to your media files, data, and more. Equipped with a hardware RAID controller with the ability to utilize software RAID systems, the Gemini supports RAID 0, 1, SPAN, and JBOD levels, allowing you to set the parameters of your system to your liking. The Gemini connects to your host system via Thunderbolt 3 ports with daisy-chaining capabilities and also includes two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports for peripheral support. A 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port supports networking capabilities with online management using optional software. You can connect a wide range of displays to the Gemini using the HDMI video output, producing up to 8K resolution at 120 Hz for a clear and fluid picture. With a front-facing SD card reader, you can manage data from your mobile devices such as phones, tablets, cameras, and more. A single 60mm 3000 rpm fan keeps your drives cool under extreme loads and optimize the lifespan of your equipment.

Thunderbolt 3

The Gemini uses two Thunderbolt 3 ports to send and receive data with speeds up to 40 GB/s. Additionally, a single Thunderbolt 3 host port supports up to 4K and 8K video resolution with refresh rates up to 120 and 60 Hz, respectively. It also uses Power Delivery technology to power your system while connected, preventing progress interruptions.

USB-A 3.2 Gen 2

Connect your peripherals, printers, and more with the dual USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports. Giving you up to 10 GB/s data transfer speeds and support for resource-demanding devices, you can optimize the throughput of your devices for enhanced speeds with lower latency.

2.5 Network Connection

The OWC Gemini features a 2.5 GB/s Ethernet port so you can transfer files and work up to 2.5x faster over wired networks and enjoy increased productivity in an IP-based workflow. Great for shared workspaces and workflows, file transfers breeze by quickly so you spend less time setting up and more time getting to work.

Dock Ejector

Safely disconnect multiple drives in a single click. OWC Dock Ejector was designed by OWC hardware and software engineers to ensure all data is written before disconnection, saving time and protecting against data loss. It makes losing your hard-earned work a thing of the past.

Attractive enclosure that's great for desktop setups with large storage needs

Bought this to consolidate the mess of external drives I had for my desktop, and after a brief struggle getting the RAID settings the way I wanted (it's important to push that reset button on the back!), it has been really great. The extra ports on the rear have helped cleaned up my cable management considerably, and the 2.5Gb Ethernet port is a great upgrade for my Mac Mini (which has TB4 ports, but only a gigabit port on the back.) My only issue is that the LEDs on the face are a bit bright; I ended up putting some LED dimming stickers on to solve that problem.
