I don't see the GenLock (sync) ports on the back, like the E2, can this sync w other E2N's & with other ZCams w/o timecode?
Asked by: s
The Z CAM camera line has two kinds of mulitcam sync. The Z CAM E2N 4K NDI Camera supports Sync via Z CAM EzLink. PixelLink - Pixel level / line level sync precision, Z CAM E2 or customized version only, requires sync cable and daisy chain connection. EzLink - 0.5ms sync precision, all ZAM E2 series cameras, all cameras connected to a switch (no need to daisy chain). 1) Original E2 camera does not offer genlock. 2) E2-F6 Pro supports genlock. 3) E2 supports PixelLink for multicam sync. 4) All Z CAM E2 series cameras supports EzLink for multicam sync. 5) E2N (new NDI model) supports EzLink.

How does this differ from the E2C? Would it basically be a "studio" and/or "streamer" version of the E2C? Thanks!
Asked by: Davis
The Z CAM E2N 4K NDI Camera has a larger body over the E2C. However, the major difference is the recording formats. The E2C offers 10-bit recording formats, and the E2N is 8-Bit NDI recording, as well as output for streaming.
