Watson VM-99-CC Overview

This compact Watson 99Wh V-Mount Battery offers flexible connectivity and a small form factor with a powerful 99Wh capacity. It can power pro cameras, monitors, and LED lights that draw up to 13A. This 99Wh battery addresses issues of weight, space, and travel convenience. It complies with FAA guidelines for carry-on items, allowing you to start shooting immediately without worrying about retrieving any checked bags.

The battery features integrated ports, including USB-A and USB-C, for charging mobile devices, tablets, and laptops while you work. Two D-Tap ports are available to power essential lights, cameras, or video monitors. For recharging, you can use the V-mount, D-Tap, or USB-C ports.

Please note: When both the USB-A and USB-C outputs are used simultaneously, the output defaults to 5V.

Compact Power
The lightweight chassis saves space in your travel case and provides ample connectivity. The battery is within FAA guidelines to carry onto a flight, so you can start shooting as soon as you step off the plane. Fit the battery onto a standard-sized V-mount connection, and the 99Wh capacity gives you the power to run cameras, lights, and monitors.
Multiple USB Connections
Phones and laptop batteries don't always last through lengthy shoots. To keep you in touch and able to check messages and email, the integrated USB-A and USB-C ports let you power and charge USB devices like laptop computers, smartphones, and tablets while you shoot.
D-Tap Connectivity
For added functionality, the battery is outfitted with two D-Tap ports to power accessories like monitors, cameras, or lights. You won't need extra batteries in your setup to run your accessories.
Backlit LED Status Display
When you're in the middle of recording, being aware of your battery's status is a must. The check button activates the backlit LCD screen and shows the remaining battery capacity and output voltage.
Charging Options
The VM-99-CC can be charged via a V-mount charger or using the D-Tap or USB-C ports. With so many charging options, you'll never run out of power during an extended session.
Intelligent Control Circuits
Built-in intelligent circuits protect against damage caused by extreme temperatures, short-circuiting, or high currents and voltages.

Great V-Mount For The Value

Works Like A V-Mount Should. I Get About A Good 6 Hours Of Operation Time When Powering My FX3 And Atomos Shinobi II. The Only Complaint That I Have Is That, When I Have Both My Camera And Monitor Plugged In (camera Via D-Tap And Monitor Via USB-C), Everytime I Turn My Monitor Off (to Save Battery), I Have To Unplug The Monitor From The USB-C On The V-Mount And Plug It Back In In Order For The Monitor To Come Back On. This Doesn't Happen When I'm Powering The Monitor Via An NP-F770 Battery.

I love this battery, small size and versatile.

This V-Mount battery is fantastic. I’ve been using it on shoots recently, and it’s quickly become my go-to power source for just about everything. One of the things I really appreciate is how lightweight and compact it is. It doesn’t take up much space in my kit, which is a big deal when you're lugging around a ton of gear. I use it for lights all the time. You can see the picture of it on my Genaray Mini Moon light. It's also really lightweight, so it's great to use with my camera rig. It makes carrying my entire camera rig much easier to deal with and saves my back and arms when going handheld. I really appreciate that. Plus, it's FAA-compliant, so I can toss it in my carry-on without the hassle of having to store it in a checked luggage. And even though it is small and light, it still brings a good amount of power at 99Wh. This little powerhouse runs my camera, lights, and monitor with ease. The 99Wh capacity is more than enough for my needs, and with two D-Tap ports, I can power multiple accessories at once—no need to carry extra batteries for each piece of equipment. That alone makes my life so much easier. What really sets this battery apart is the built-in USB-A AND USB-C ports. That is fantastic. I’ve used them to charge my phone, iPad and accessories, which makes this v-mount battery very helpful and versatile. And on top of all of those things, you can use the V-mount, D-Tap, or USB-C ports to charge the battery itself. I love that feature, especially when traveling. I can recharge this V-Mount battery without the need to pack a dedicated charger or bring it up to my room. This battery really does have me covered for so many situations. The build quality is also really good. Seems well-made and well-machined. The LED display looks nice and is very functional giving plenty me the information I want. I even like the look of it with this carbon fiber-like pattern. It looks great. And having built-in intelligent circuits that protect against damage gives me peace of mind. To summarize, I love this battery. It's a compact, powerful battery that can handle all your gear, looks great and provides a ton of versatility with multiple ports and multiple ways to recharge it.
