For direct printing, the WF-M5899 has a high-speed USB connection, and the unit hosts a variety of mobile printing options that allow you to wirelessly print from an iPhone, iPad, and Android tablets and smartphones. The printer's maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi ensures highly detailed prints, and speed is also very good with the ability to reach up to 25 ppm in simplex mode and 16 ppm in duplex mode. For all the other functions, the WF-M5899 is equipped with both a 50-sheet ADF and an 8.5 x 11.7" flatbed scanner with an optical resolution of 1200 dpi.
