Foget the gloves, you need this in your kit! Got this after seeing Ken Strain using it, will never go back to gloves or barehanding a boom pole ever again.

Just as Good as Gloves

I know I should have gotten gloves instead, but I have sweaty hands. So this is perfect because I don't have to worry about that. The only thing I wish it had different, is the soft loop part that the hooks dig into is not long enough. It makes it not so flexible in that sense. I use it on the KP10VCCR, so maybe because that is a 5 section boom (compared to the usual 6 section boom), the diameter is smaller? Either way, it works well for me and I really like it.
