The Arista Premium Plastic Developing Reel is a plastic film reel to be used in the development process. Its Easy Load Film Guide facilitates the load process. This reel will never rust, and it will retain its shape. Designed for use with the Arista Premium Plastic Developing Tank, but it is compatible with the majority of standard, plastic, processing tanks. The reel accommodates 35, 126, 127, 120 and 220mm size films.
Bought the Arista reel as replacement for one that had worn out. I hadn’t realized how much easier a new one is to use, as the wear creeps up over time. It wasn’t me :-) Price was reasonable and I expect it to last 10-20 years! These work with 35mm, and 120 film, 126, 828 and 620, too.
Some hero in one of my Facebook groups suggested these. They are so worth the additional cost. I struggled with and felt like I had to force the stock reels that came with my Patterson tank if I wanted to take them apart or configure them for 120. These come apart with little trouble at all and are a lot easier to load since the feed lips span the entire width. Do yourself a favor and get yourself some of these. You won't be disappointed.
