This Beauty Dish Plate from Godox is designed as an attachment for their S65T, S85T, and S120T softboxes. It works to further diffuse the spread of light by reflecting it internally and creating an effect similar to a beauty dish rather than a softbox. This makes the softbox a more portable and versatile alternative to a rigid beauty dish for easier storage and transport.

If you are unfamiliar with the Godox S120T, it initially looks like you need this to hold the softbox open. You don't, the ring holding the ribs has catches to hold it open. This product is simply to block the direct glare from the strobe, and is about the same diameter as the Godox Bowen's mount ring.
This is too small to be effective.
