The VPA 2 Variable Phone Adapter enables you to capture photos and videos on your smartphone through your Swarovski binoculars or spotting scope. Supporting smartphones from 2.3 to 3.3" wide, the adapter is made to be light for easy packing and carrying on the trail, yet rugged enough to stand up to the rigors of daily use. The near-universal fit allows access to most of your phone's controls and can be adjusted for just about any camera lens placement. Very overpriced piece of plastic which needs another expensive piece of plastic to work.

The price of this piece of plastic is ridiculous— it probably costs them about $10.00 to manufacture. But wait… that’s not all. You also need another plastic adapter clamp ring for $59.00 just to connect your phone. So the total comes to $309.00 plus tax!!! Outrageous price scam tactic from Swarovski company. I understand that high-quality glass costs money, but they’re charging the same price for plastic as if it were made out of premium glass. Lol.

We use our spotting scope for wildlife viewing which we love and this allows us now to capture video or pictures right off of my phone. It is easy to set up your phone in the adapter and the snap on clamp holds it in place on your scope. Highly recommend. We have several trips planned and can not wait to use it more. If you are wondering if you need it or not let me help you. BUY IT. BUY IT It's great

Which Adapter Clamp Ring do I use for Swarovski EL and NL binoculars? None of the three mention EL or NL binos.

The Swarovski VPA 2 Variable Phone Adapter (BH # SWVPA2) will work with all SWAROVSKI OPTIK binoculars or spotting scopes with specific but optional clamp adapters. The CA-B adapter works with the EL and NL models. Swarovski VPA 2 Smartphone Adapter Clamp Ring for CL Binoculars (B&H # SWCABS).

The Swarovski VPA 2 Variable Phone Adapter works best on the 24mm lens on the iPhone 17 pro. The Swarovski VPA 2 Smartphone Adapter Clamp Ring for ATX/STX, ATC/STC, ATS/STS, STR Eyepieces, BH # SWCAS MFR # 44274, is needed for use with the STC 17-40 spotting scope.
