UPDATE to previous review. I tried several plates and brackets with the clamp and discovered an issue. All my other clamps are screw type, so it may be common to levers, but some plates are too loose and slide. If I adjust the clamp to hold them firmly, it will be too tight to hold other plates. I can't find a middle ground to work with all plates.

There is no maximum weight for the SLC-60B Arca-Type Lever-Release Clamp. The maximum weight depends on the tripod and head the clamp is being used on.
