Alpine Astronomical TZ-4S Baader SunDancer II Telecentric System

The TZ-4S Baader SunDancer II Telecentric System from Alpine Astronomical is a 4x telecentric with a 36mm clear aperture and 97mm working distance from the T2 thread. It is designed for use with the Baader SunDancer II H-alpha filter and is compatible with its blocking filter. It provides an f/30 focal ratio for f/7.5 telescopes. Unlike other telecentrics, the TZ-4S is designed for the entire visible spectrum and can therefore not only be used on H-alpha systems for solar observation but can also replace a Barlow lens. Please note that this telecentric does not include the 2nm blocking filter of the Sundancer II H-alpha filter; that filter must be converted from the Baader TZ-3S telecentric and is not available separately. Using a Baader SolarSpectrum H-alpha filter with a built-in blocking filter and additional energy protection filter is possible without this additional 2nm block filter.
