[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to install and the video quality was great. The camera itself is solid and very durable. I was surprised by the battery life, haven’t had to charge it at all all and have been using for over a month! The app is a little cumbersome but just take a while to get used to.

will this camera operate on your wifi network without the Homebase unit through the included mobile app?

Yes, eufy Security SoloCam S220 2K Solar-Powered Battery Camera will operate independently. It does not require the Homebase . You will need a wireless router/network that supports 2.4 GHz. When using the camera with the eufy app.

This camera it is describe as solar, how it will work indoor?

It is not recommended to use the eufy Security SoloCam S220 2K Solar-Powered Battery Camera (BH # EUT8134121) indoors. The solar panels would not be effective. Indoors,a USB/AC charger would be required (5 VDC at 2 A (0.9 W).
