What is the suggested or recommend lens for a camera like this? Should it be prime or zoom?
Asked by: Wesley
Since the other answer gave the controlled lenses. I use manual lenses in certain scenarios. (Fixed ISO shots, some slider shots, etc) I prefer the depth of field from the primes. There is a cheap set on bh from rokinon (if the link doesn’t work search - rokinon mft prime https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1619683-REG

Can two Micro Studio 4K G2's be genlocked?

Can two Micro Studio 4K G2's be genlocked?
Asked by: Richard
Yes. The Micro Studio Camera G2 will genlock to input SDI Video. A common setup would involve multiple cameras connected to an ATEM switcher for the purposes of tally and camera control. All cameras could then be locked to the ATEM. Further the ATEM could be locked to a common sync generator. The Micro studio camera G2 does not accept a tri level or black burst reference.

Hello! I I would like to know if it is possible ...

Hello! I I would like to know if it is possible to plug in SSD disk In loop connection on the black Magic design focus demand. S, I am about to use it with Micro studio camera 4K, G2 and there is only one SSD on the camera itself. So I would like to know, if I will be able to use focus, demand and record, black magic raw on the SSD simultaneously. Thanks everyone in advance.
Asked by: Dimitry
The loop out USB on the Blackmagic Design Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 is for connecting the Black Magic Zoom and focus demand controls only. You could consider using a USB-C hub if you need to connect multiple USB-C devices. Belkin 4-Port USB-C Hub BH #BEAVC018BTBK

Yes, you can send the HDMI/SDI output of the Micro Studio Camera 4k G2 to the Video Assist 5" 3G or 12G, and use the UCB-C connection to connect to a computer so it can be seen as a webcam.
