This 40° BoomBox Rectangular Grid V2 from Angler is made specifically for the 24 x 36" Rectangular BoomBox Softbox. The grid narrows the beam of a monolight or a flash head and controls spill light. It attaches quickly and easily to the recessed touch-fastener strips on the front of the BoomBox, and when installed over the BoomBox's diffusers, retains a soft, diffused quality of light while adding directional control. Constructed from lightweight nylon, it folds to a compact size for travel or shooting on the go.

Grids are manufacture specific. The different brands do not all make or measure there boxes in the same way.

The grid folds up easily to fit in the bag supplied for the Boombox, no separate is provided for the grid. there separate bags for the scrims.

The description says it attaches with "touch fasteners". Does this grid have velcro to attach to the inside of soft box, or does it slip over the front of the soft box like cap?

The velcro attaches the grid on the inside portion of the box.
