Quickly mount your Sony ZV-E1 camera on an Arca-type tripod head or rig while cooling down your camera on a hot day with this Cooling System Baseplate Kit from Tilta. This kit includes the Cooling System for the Sony ZV-E1 and the Arca-type baseplate.
The aluminum baseplate mounts onto the bottom of the camera using a captive 1/4"-20 screw with soft padding, and it features an integrated Arca-type base. It also features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on the bottom for mounting on other rigs, and there are M3 and M4 threads around the sides for mounting other accessories, such as a lens support. The Cooling System mounts onto the back of the baseplate using included screws, providing multiple fan levels to cool your camera and lengthen recording times.

The cooling system quickly mounts onto the back of the ZV-E1 using captive thumbscrews and provides a 7-blade turbo fan to efficiently dissipate the heat from the camera. In a 95°F environment, it can keep the camera cool enough to record 100 fps 4K footage for up to 38 minutes, double the standard record time, and it can record 50 fps 4K footage for up to 64 minutes, triple the standard record time, before the camera can overheat and shut down.
The durable aluminum unit is hinged so it can fold down 90° to allow the screen to pop out and store, and it features a speed adjustment switch to adjust the fan from off, low, and high-speed modes. The unit is powered using a separately available power source via its USB-C port, such as a battery plate or a power bank.
