Originally bought the wrong card with the ports for using fiber or something, so after figuring that out we had it replaced with this. THIS is the model you can plug normal RJ45 Ethernet cables into. The difference in the name is , I think ONE letter, so be vigilant. This was crazy easy to install, too. Just remember you ethernet cables need to be Cat6A or higher. Cat 7, 8, etc... work just fine. Just don't go lower than Cat6A, imo.

The Synology E10G30-T2 2-Port 10G RJ45 Ethernet to PCIe 3.0 Adapter Card, B&H # SYE10G30T2, is designed to work with specific Synology NAS enclosures, it does not officially support Windows OS. Link aggregation is supported when using it with a compatible Synology NAS.
