this thing is a lot more burly and big than I thought it would be… it will certainly hold whatever load you need.
It’s not the lightest one I’ve ever used, but I love the twist locks on it - they are a bit nicer than the punks range of tripods…
Using it with a head kicks the weight up a bit, but I use this where I can’t use a tripod (I’ve visited some museums where they don’t allow that, without special exemption, but a monopod is ok).
If the dimensions and weight are what you need, it’s great. I wouldn’t mind it being a bit smaller and lighter, but knew what it was going in - and the quality is fantastic. I’d buy it again.
