Enjoy professional quality sound reproduction with the LD Systems MON 8 A G3, a compact, powered stage monitor that can double as a main PA speaker, well suited for bands, performers, DJs, and singer-songwriters. The MON 8 A G3 delivers a powerful and precise sound, thanks to the 300W RMS (1200W peak) Class-D amplifier that powers the 8" woofer and 1" high-frequency driver. The drivers are arranged in a coaxial design for true point-source performance and provide a frequency response of 68 Hz to 18 kHz with a peak SPL of 121 dB.
The rugged enclosure is made from birch plywood and features a resistant polyurea coating. The side of the speaker features two combo XLR-1/4" inputs and XLR-thru outputs, as well as two powerCON power connectors for daisy-chaining to other monitors. The second generation DynX DSP provides four application presets, a 3-band EQ, tunable notch filter, and an alignment delay. The other side of the speaker features a 35mm pole socket for raising the speaker on a stand to be used as a main PA. The MON 8 A G3 ships with a powerCON power cord.
