DirectScan
The fi-8040 comes with the DirectScan function which allows PC-less scans and the ability to directly attach scans to emails. You can also save scanned data directly to network folders by setting destination storage locations. Image data scanned in PC-less mode is displayed as thumbnails which can be instantly viewed for review via the 4.3" color touchscreen.
