This brough a vintage Gossen Luna Pro back to life in perfect working order. The little adapter fits right in and then the battery fits into the adapter. It's just what need.

I guess I'm old fashioned but I prefer an actual light meter rather than mess with a cell phone app. I had acquired a Gossen Lunasix 3 with the intention of getting this particular adapter. The adapter lets you use modern SR 43 batteries instead of the original mercury batteries of a different voltage as they are no longer available. The adapter comes with two SR 43 batteries so you can use it immediately. Having installed the adapter and batteries I checked the meter accuracy against my 5D III and it was spot on so the adapter/battery/meter combo was obviously working exactly as it should. Definitely recommended!

Is the adapter tube made of conductive material? I wonder if it would work in a Nikon F Photomic meter prism.
