Denon DP-3000NE Reviews
Beautiful, Makes Great Music, Versatile, Well Built
The title says it all. In my opinion, this turntable is quite the bargain. I currently use or have used many turntables including a VPI Aries, VPI Prime, Dr. Feickert Volare (Origin Live Silver MK IV tonearm), and a Well Tempered Classic among others. Musically, this turntable is competitive with all of them. I use the Denon DP-3000NE with a variety of cartridges, including Phasemation PP-200, Ortofon SPU 1S, Denon DL-301II, Denon DL-103, Denon DL-103r, Denon DL-110, Nagaoka MP-500, and Ortofon MC X10. Love the music produced with each of them on this turntable, regardless of whether it's classical, rock, jazz, or any sub-genre. In my opinion, the Denon DP-3000NE tonearm has more subtlety in its reproduction than that of typical direct drive units, and I would personally choose this over any Technics GR or the 1200G, especially for classical music. Your mileage might vary. Clearly a winner and very highly recommended. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
