FiiO K11 Overview

Aimed at audiophiles and music enthusiasts, the high-fidelity FiiO K11, styled in black, is a compact desktop USB DAC and headphone amplifier designed to faithfully reproduce your music when listening to audio from your computer, smartphone/tablet, or other digital music player. The K11 employs the high-resolution CS43198 DAC to deliver rich audio details and a superior performance up to a 384 kHz sampling rate and native DSD256.

Equipped with optical and coaxial digital inputs, a USB-C port, RCA analog line outputs, and two headphone jacks (1/4" unbalanced and 4.4mm balanced), the K11 acts as a bridge between your computer, phone, speakers, and headphones, allowing them to work together seamlessly. Switchable low, medium, and high gain levels are available, enabling you to use the amplifier at comfortable volume levels with almost any headphones.

1400mW Power Output
Under a 32-ohm load, the K11 is capable of pushing 1400mW under balance modes. This allows it to easily drive many hi-fi earphones and headphones to fully unlock their potential.
Gain Levels and Volume Curves
The K11 has three separate gain levels, each with its own volume curve. This provides a better listening experience with various types of headphones, whether you are using sensitive earphones or hard-to-drive over-ear headphones.
Specially-Designed Audio Circuit and Power Supply
Within the K11's slim build lies a special audio circuit designed for great sound quality. This is backed by more than 16 low-noise LDOs for precise voltage stabilization and powered by an external 12V switching power supply. All of this leads to a purer and more robust supply of power, leading to stable high-quality audio and truly enjoyable music, all of the time.
Slim and Stable Enclosure
The slim aluminum alloy body allows you to easily place the K11 anywhere, making it easier to complement the rest of your desk. Thanks to the silicone antislip pad, the K11 rests stably and firmly on your table.
High-Contrast Display
A custom, high-contrast display and durable VA display allows you to easily see the sampling rate, volume, gain, or output mode with just a glance.
Adjustable RGB Logo Lighting
FiiO logo is illuminated with RGB lighting, giving you a quick way to identify the sampling rate of the current audio being played back. Six LED strips work in conjunction with a carefully placed reflective film and parts of the body designed to reflect light to make the light show uniform and elegant.
Single Knob Interface
  • In the K11's minimalist design, the volume knob acts as a crucial source of total control. The K11's multifunction volume knob is used to power the device on and off, accessing menu operations, making volume adjustment, and other functions.
  • The knob is designed so that you can quickly execute various complex actions by simply pressing and turning the knob. You can also quickly switch between LO/PO modes by double-pressing the knob, making it easier for you to appropriately connect to different headphones or audio setups.
Driver-Free Mode
The K11 used in USB DAC mode does not require a driver on Widows 10 and above and can also be used with video game consoles such as PS5 and the Switch. Simply plug and play for worry-free usage, whether you are enjoying music or being immersed in games.

Couldn't get it to work, probably defective

I bought this to attempt to connect my iPad to my Onkyo AV Receiver in order to bypass the HDMI connection I'd been using. Unfortunately, I think the USB bus was defective. I was live chatting with a tech for 20-30 minutes, and he could not get it working. Take this with a grain of salt. You might get one that works. I decided to stick with the HDMI connection and use the onboard DAC in my Onkyo receiver.

Drops signal randomly.

I tried to update the firmware but the installer provided by fiio would not recognize the K11. I wasted over an hour trying to make it work. Kept hitting walls. Not worth the hassle.
