The D-Box and B-Box System from Wooden Camera includes the D-Box with a Gold mount plate and the B-Box external control box. The D-Box mounts onto the V-mount plate of the KOMODO-X camera and connects to the 9-pin EXT port on the camera, and the B-Box connects to the pass-through EXT port on the D-Box to add external power, failover, and control options to your camera rig.
There are 9-pin and 12-pin EXT cables included with the kit, as well as a 1.6" Mini Accessory Rail and a 3/8"-16 Bolt-On Accessory mount for outfitting the B-Box. The D-Box is an adapter that provides power distribution, remote power on/off, and hot swap battery functions for the RED KOMODO-X cameras. The B-Box provides external Run/Stop, timecode, control, and genlock for the camera.
The D-Box from Wooden Camera is an adapter that provides power distribution, remote power on/off, and hot swap battery functions for the RED KOMODO-X cameras. The unit mounts onto the V-mount of your camera and connects to the camera via the included 9-pin EXT cable, and it provides a plate for a separately available Gold mount battery. Expanding your selection of powered accessory connectors, this box features D-Tap ports, 12V 2-pin LEMO-type ports, and 24V 3-pin Fischer ports.
There is also a 9-pin EXT input for connection of a DC input for hot-swap and failover functions. It is compatible with an optional B-Box to extend your connections for run/stop, timecode, genlock, and other controls, and it is enabled for run/stop power pass-through.
The B-Box Kit from Wooden Camera is an EXT port breakout box for RED DSMC3 cinema cameras such as the KOMODO, KOMODO-X, V-RAPTOR, or V-RAPTOR [X]. This adapter mounts onto the camera or separately available D-Box and features a 9-pin extension port. Use the B-Box to add external 24V run/stop, timecode, control, and genlock ports to your camera rig.
The kit features multiple connector cables, including a 3" 12-pin to 12-pin right-angle EXT cable, a 12" 12-pin to 12-pin straight EXT cable, a 4" 9-pin to 12-pin right-angle EXT cable, and a 9-pin to 12-pin straight EXT cable. There are multiple M2.5 threads around the B-Box for mounting the included 1.6" Mini Accessory Rail and 3/8"-16 Bolt-On Accessory mount.
NOTE: For V-RAPTOR and V-RAPTOR [X], the user may need a Bolt-On Accessory Plate Adapter A00526 or Bolt-On Accessory Rail Clamp A00350 for compatibility with their camera cage system.
