Microtech Gefell M 930 Large-Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone with EA 93 Shockmount (Dark Bronze)

With high-performance specs and low RFI susceptibility, the dark bronze Microtech Gefell M 930 cardioid condenser microphone is especially well suited for demanding broadcast and studio recording of speech, vocals, and varied instruments. The large-diaphragm capsule and transformerless electronics, which are elastically suspended to inhibit vibration noise, allow the M 930 to produce excellent detail for low-level signals as well as distortion-free clarity at high SPLs up to 142 dB, all while yielding very low self-noise (7 dBA).

The overall frequency response is balanced and quite flat, with a slight rise from 7 to 11 kHz to exude enhanced presence and brilliance. Thanks to the cardioid polar pattern, cancellation at the rear of the mic exceeds 25 dB, helping minimize background noise and bleed from other sounds.
