The Versa CXV14 head is designed to accommodate a payload up to 30.9 lb and has 16 steps of counterbalance with CB Plus, a quick release plate with 3.9" of sliding range to balance your rig, a 100mm ball base, an illuminated bubble level, and a fixed length pan handle. The 2-stage legs are made from durable alloy and have a 22 to 68" height range, a mid-level spreader, removable rubber feet, a 100mm bowl, and a 33.2" transport length.
The Versa CXV14 Fluid Head with Pan Handle from Miller is designed to accommodate a wide payload range, 16 steps of counterbalance with CB Plus for fine adjustments, as well as five selectable pan/drag settings. Pan, tilt, and counterbalance can all be set to zero, enabling even the lightest of cameras to be supported. Maxed out, this head is rated to support camera setups up to 30.9 lb, adequate for a DSLR or mirrorless camera, a cinema camera, or a ENG camcorder. Securing your camera or rig is easy. The sideload quick release plate design enables you to simply drop in your camera without the alignment issues posed by rear-loading variations. To survive fast-paced shooting environments, the CXV14 is die-cast from a lightweight, yet durable metal alloy with composite polymers and precision ball bearings for smooth mechanical operation. Even in harsh conditions, the CXV14 will perform reliably. The base of the CXV14 is a 100mm ball for mounting to compatible tripods and grip equipment. An illuminated bubble level makes it easy to level the CXV14 in dark environments. A fixed-length pan handle is included, and a second rosette is available for attaching an optional second pan handle.
