The printer has a flat-body design for efficiency and comfort.
The user interface home screen displays the ink levels and sub-ink tank levels, media indicator levels, and other setting prompts.
Produce A1 CAD prints in just 17 seconds or A1 posters in 22 seconds. Save time trimming excess margins with borderless prints of any sizes and easily meet higher print demand with larger ink tanks, quick processing time, and a fast return from sleep mode.
Use stable image enhancements to create sharp, crisp lines and magenta ink for vivid red color. As a result, you'll produce vivid and accurate CAD drawings, posters, and educational materials.
The Direct Print Plus feature lets you batch print files and monitor the status of more than one imagePROGRAF Series printer. Additional features allow you to easily produce collated sets, drag and drop PDF files, and nest images.
The Free Layout Plus print utility lets you nest, tile, and create custom layouts before printing your files. Use the plug-in feature to print directly from Microsoft Office programs.
The ability to calibrate your printer for consistent color quality is now available. This helps ensure the output is color consistent over time and across multiple devices.
The use of pigment ink helps ensure prints do not easily fade over time, making them suitable for long-term display and water resistant for outdoor use.

Scanner offers image scanning up to 36" wide and fits documents up to 38" wide.
The scanner provides 1200 dpi maximum optical resolution and 9600 dpi maximum resolution.
The Z36 comes with an all-in-one 15.6" touchscreen computer with Smartworks software, making this scanner able to scan to network file destinations, emails, and dropboxes and a workgroup/production scanner.
Scanning speeds are up to 13" per second in monochrome and up to 6" per second in color.
Scan a document up to 0.7mm thick.
