AMD Threadripper Pro 7995WX Overview

Cut through intensive workloads by equipping your workstation with the AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX 2.5 GHz 96-Core sTR5 Processor. Built using the 5nm Zen 4 architecture with the sTR5 socket, this 96-core / 192 thread processor is designed to deliver accelerated performance for professionals such as artists, architects, engineers, and data scientists.

With a 2.5 GHz base clock speed, a 5.1 GHz boost frequency, and 384MB of L3 cache, this CPU significantly reduces rendering times for 8K videos, high-resolution photos, and 3D models. You can overclock this processor for greater performance. The Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX supports up to 128 PCI Express 5.0 lanes for high-speed throughput to compatible devices. It also supports eight-channel DDR5 ECC memory with up to 5200 MT/s transfer speeds that help efficiently run and multitask demanding applications.

Please note that a thermal solution is NOT included. A separately purchased dedicated graphics card is required. This processor is backed by a 3-year warranty.

AMD Memory Guard
AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO processors include full, real-time system memory encryption to help defend against physical attacks should your computer be lost or stolen.
AMD Secure Processor
The dedicated security processor validates code before it is executed to help ensure data and application integrity. It helps protect your system & data from unauthorized software and applications running on your device.
AMD Shadow Stack
This robust security approach helps to protect against control-flow attacks by checking the normal program stack against a hardware-stored copy and enabling Microsoft Hardware Enforced Stack Protection in Windows 11.
AMD Platform Secure Boot
Platform secure boot helps defend against threats to firmware. It is designed to provide protection in response to growing firmware-level remote attacks being seen across the industry. AMD Secure Boot extends the AMD silicon root of trust to help protect the system by establishing an unbroken chain of trust from the AMD silicon root of trust to the BIOS. The UEFI secure boot helps continue the chain of trust from the system BIOS to the OS Bootloader. This feature helps defend against remote attackers seeking to embed malware into firmware.
Microsoft Pluton Security Processor
Microsoft Pluton delivers built-in, next-generation security including Trusted Platform Module 2.0 for scenarios like Windows Hello and BitLocker. Designed for today's ever-changing security landscape, Pluton supports Zero Trust and helps ensure system integrity from the moment the device starts, with nonstop protection of user credentials, identities, personal data, and encryption keys. Pluton is always up to date to help protect against current and emerging threats.
AMD PRO Manageability
A robust manageability feature set simplifies deployment, imaging, and management of an ever-growing and changing fleet. Whether devices are being managed in network or through the cloud with endpoint management tools, at any point in the lifecycle from deployment to retirement, AMD PRO manageability provides a unified set of tools to manage systems across the entire organization.
AMD EXPO
The AMD Extended Profiles for Overclocking (AMD EXPO Technology) was developed to allow for user-friendly memory overclocking support of all types of memory, giving users an easy path to accelerated power to achieve accelerated memory in their system.

We have not yet been able to bring this thing to its knees. It churns through everything we throw at it with ease. Faro Scene, Pix4d, Lumion Pro - you name it, it destroys it. It's a beautiful thing to see 192 threads in task manager...
