IOGEAR GCS1214TAA4C Overview

Control multiple systems and devices independently with the 4-Port Single-View DVI Secure KVM from IOGEAR. Whether you are looking to control server systems or workstations, this switch allows you to shift over to a separate connection seamlessly from a single desktop, ideal for IT professionals and creatives with multiple setups.

Able to support up to four systems, this KVM is equipped with an array of DVI video ports. You get support for multi-monitor setups with screen resolutions up to 2560 x 1600. A 3.5mm audio jack provides you with various audio queues and media support. Various USB-A ports are available for your mouse and keyboard console controls as well as CAC devices, allowing you to leverage biometric readers, ideal for high-security environments. Easily swap between systems thanks to the push-button design. Various LEDs tell you the status of your ports, inputs, and other functionality at a glance.

Compatibility
You can use this KVM switch on a wide range of Windows 7, 8.1, 10, macOS, and Linux systems. Keyboard and mouse emulation allow you to control a macOS-based device with a standard Windows keyboard. Multilingual keyboard mapping supports English, French, and German keyboards for optimal support.
TAA & NIAP Certified
IOGEAR secure KVM switches comply with NIAP PP v4.0 security certification, meeting the latest cybersecurity requirements from the U.S. government. The secure KVM also meets with the Common Criterial Compliance as part of the international Common Criteria Recognition Arrangement. The unit also meets with all TAA-compliant guidelines.
Enhanced Security
IOGEAR secure KVM switch hardware security is comprised of tamper-evident seals, active chassis intrusion detection, and tamper-proof hardware. Compliance with NIAP Protection Profile v4.0 certifies that non-approved USB peripherals will be rejected and cannot be connected to the secure KVM switch, providing high-level security, protection, and data safekeeping. With the combination of physical and software security, secure KVM switches offer secure air-gap network isolation to prevent internal and external access to individual systems while consolidating multiple workstations with varying security classification levels.
Data Channel Isolation
IOGEAR Secure KVM switches control and isolate data flow between the console device and the connected computers, preventing any data transfer between the connected computers. Data channel isolation prevents data leakage between connected computers via isolated channel per port, and unidirectional data flow is ensured between the console devices and the selected computer.
Common Access Card Reader
A fully advanced and configurable CAC reader port supports smart cards or biometric readers in compliance with NIAP-certified access accessories.
Remote Port Selector Add-on
Securely select and switch between systems with the optional external remote port selector that provides full operator control for an optimized user experience.
Emulation
The always-on keyboard, mouse, and display EDID emulation ensures isolation between peripherals and connected computers, allowing you to easily swap between connected devices without needing to reset your entire system.
