The A50 ceiling microphone uses innovative technology to amplify the voice of the person speaking in large meeting rooms, eliminating the need for the spokesperson to wear a separate lavalier mic or hold a handheld microphone while moving around the room. It uses 91 MEMS microphones and deep sidelobe beamforming to pick up sound for up to 12 independent lobes.

Advanced technology automatically detects even moving presenters and orients the mics in their direction for amplification, broadcast, or both. Embedded with an onboard digital signal processor, the Nearity A50 applies deep-learning AI capabilities, including advanced audio technologies such as audio mixing routing, echo cancellation, noise reduction, and automatic gain control, ensuring vivid speech in a wide area.

The A50 ceiling microphone is an efficient solution for various settings, from small classrooms to large lecture halls and boardrooms. Up to eight units can be connected through Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) to expand the audio coverage and reach larger spaces.
Flexible Installation Methods
The A50 ceiling microphone can be mounted using suspended construction or a VESA mount and features Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) for easy and convenient ceiling array integration. Depending on the size of the room, the ideal height is 9 to 15'. In addition, Nearity ASP110 and ASP100 loudspeakers are available separately to supplement the system. Adding the AMX100 DSP (available separately) for the audio routing allows you to connect a third-party loudspeaker.

The included Nearity AMX100 DSP is a necessary component for the ceiling mic module. Its rich interfaces support the connection of loudspeakers, PCs, wireless microphones, ACT10 controllers, and other devices. At the same time, it is compatible with traditional MCU conference rooms, and is easily applied to various conference scenes.

ACT10 Controller
Simple & Intuitive Remote Control
The included ACT10 is one of the accessories of the ceiling microphone system and can intelligently control the corresponding ceiling mic device, quickly switch the volume up/down, engage the mute on/off functions, and support the one button mode to turn on/off local sound reinforcement mode. The unit connects to the AMX100 via RJ45. You will need to supplement the cable with additional Ethernet cable (available separately) depending on the length needed.
