The PIXEM 2 Robot Cameraman from MOVE'N SEE is an auto-follow camera that works with a wide range of cameras, iOS and Android smartphones, and tablets. Once the subject to be filmed is wearing the included watch tag on their arm, wrist, or pocket, the PIXEM 2 automatically tracks them wirelessly, indoors or outdoors, at a range of up to 330'. The PIXEM 2 automatically adjusts the zoom of your device in real time and can also live stream videos to Facebook Twitter, Instagram, or YouTube using the free PIXEM app.
Works Indoors and Outdoors
PIXEM tracks the watch, whether inside or out. The robot can't lose you even if there are several people in the action area and has no problem with the colors or shapes of the tracked subject. Whatever the light conditions and even in the dark, the robot always follows you.
Compatible with Your Camera, Smartphone, and Tablet
Use your camera, smartphone, or tablet to remotely control or film the action. A camera weighing up to 5.5 lb can mount onto the top of the robot using a 1/4"-20 screw, and it can connect using either the included Sony Multi cable or a separately available camera control cable that can utilize LANC control. Visit the MOVE'N SEE website for a list of compatible cameras.
Automatic Zoom
PIXEM adjusts the zoom of your camera, smartphone, or tablet automatically, in real time. Users can set a desired frame for when the tagged subject is more than 16.4' away from the PIXEM. This frame will be automatically used when their distance increases or decreases.
Long-Lasting Batteries
The integrated battery lasts for 2.5 to 3.5 hours and using a separately sold 3300mAh power bank, the battery can last up to six hours. While devices up to 4.4 lb are supported, the PIXEM 2 rotates more efficiently with devices up to 2.2 lb.
Subject Tracking Watch
Wear the watch, put the three micro-beacons around the area, switch on, and it's done, with no calibration time. The watch is located by the beacons thanks to triangulation techniques, which is why the beacons are essential both indoors and outdoors.
User-Friendly Live Streaming
Use the free PIXEM app to live stream your videos on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram with a delay of 10 to 40 seconds.
Applications
The PIXEM is designed for all kinds of applications with a single subject, from fast-paced sports like horse riding, conferences, education, coaching, and ice skating, with high responsiveness, accuracy, and soft movements. It can rotate 360° as need be at speeds up to 120° per second (45 mph at 30') with manual tilt rotations of ±10°. It can record subjects up to 330' away.
Multiple Robots, Multiple Watches
You can film up to 16 people, with each one wearing a watch. Either the last one who presses its button is filmed, or someone using the PIXEM app can choose who is being filmed. You can also use up to 16 robots to film from different angles. Just add "Extra PIXEM Robots" to your first PIXEM. A maximum of three different watches can be filmed at the same time by the 16 robots. This means that several robots will sometimes have to film the same watch.
