I was really hoping this product would work however when I received the product it did not close all the way. I reached out to Holdand customer service and they sent me 2 new ones. They both had the same issues as the first and would not close all they. The idea is great just some design issues that need to be fixed.

This is one of those photography products that sounds good on paper but is completely impractical. If you have multiple lenses in your kit you'd have to buy one (in the correct ring size) for each lens. It adds enough bulk to the end of your lenses that it makes your them not fit well in a camera bag. It also occupies the lens thread so it's not compatible if you want to use a screw on ND or other filter at the same time. Add all these frustrations to the fact that it's just not great at what it's main purpose is and it's just not worth it. A lens cap should protect the front element of your lens. The blades of this cap are fairly stiff, but not strong enough to deflect a direct blow. They also don't provide a tight seal. When they are closed, there is still a tiny pinhole in the center. Again, it's a cute idea, but really amounts to nothing better than another photography gimmick.
