Featuring a slender, space-saving design, this Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) router delivers exceptionally fast and reliable wireless connections to over 200 concurrent devices with 360° coverage across up to 3500 square feet.

Powered by eight amplified internal antennas, the Nighthawk RS700S can reach transfer speeds of up to 18.7 Gb/s over the 6 GHz, 5 GHz, and 2.4 GHz bands. Multi-link operation technology allows the system to combine two bands into one for higher throughput and reach compatible devices. In addition to having a 10G Ethernet LAN port for connections to high-speed wired devices, the 10G Ethernet WAN port allows you to take advantage of multi-Gig internet services. At the same time, WPA3 encryption and Netgear Armor security features with VPN access help to keep your network and its connected devices protected. Use the Nighthawk app to set up your router in minutes and manage it from almost anywhere.

Wi-Fi 7
By using the 320 MHz channels on the 6 GHz band with 4K QAM modulation, the Nighthawk RS700S delivers 2.4x the speed of Wi-Fi 6 while supporting more devices. At the same time, preamble puncturing optimizes your connections by reducing interference from your neighbors' competing Wi-Fi signals. Wi-Fi 7 is backward compatible with previous standards, so you can upgrade devices at your own pace.

WiFi 7 Range Not So Good

I purchased this item so that I could take advantage of WiFi 7 for my Samsung Galaxy S26 phone. The router is located in an office/study, and the family room is approximately 250 feet away. In the office/study I get WiFi 7 no problem. Sitting on the couch in the family room I only get WiFi6. Disappointed.

Everything works great. I upgraded my R6700 router because coverage was running out, so I was familiar with setting up a Netgear Nighthawk router. I had to update my password in order to logon to the app, but everything went pretty smooth after that.

I bought this router & I couldn't get my WiFi smart bulbs, smart plugs, Amazon Echo Dot, Roku, etc to connect. 2.4GHz settings?
