I got this to beef up the cushion on my Rat Bag, which is the lower priced competitor to the Cine Saddle, but this does the trick. When I opened the package I had doubts because it's less cushioned than I expected. It feels almost like a bill fold or large velco wallet, but it provides just enough extra cushion to the shoulder strap to alleviate the discomfort over long periods of filming with a heavier camera. I don't know if this is essential kit for everyone, but this stopped the strap from digging into my neck and shoulder, meaning I didn't have to constantly readjust or get sore. I was able to film a 10-hour day without any discomfort.
