This Parrot Remote Control works in tandem with your Padcaster Parrot series teleprompter for more natural script reading. Pair with your smartphone and the Parrot Pro Teleprompter app via Bluetooth to adjust different script parameters. Increase or decrease font size, speed, and even pause or play your script using the onboard button controls. A Bluetooth connect button can toggle between compatible multimedia devices such as a music player.

Super easy to use. I've been running the Padcaster for 5 years and plan to for another 5. It beats every other teleprompter I've tried because it's small, portable, discreet, and your eyes don't have to move as much as they would on a bigger unit. That makes for a way more natural performance on camera. Now, the remote. It's tiny, works great… for about 3-6 months. Then it taps out. I've gone through 7 of them (likely more) in 5 years, which apparently shocked customer service. The guy literally told me he found it “hard to believe” my remotes wear out that fast. Dude, I film 20 videos a week. I use these things more often than toothpaste. And yes, my teeth are fine. If you're using it casually, 5-10 times a month, it'll last you years. If you're hammering it like I do-100+ uses a month-expect to burn through remotes like socks. I just wish they'd own up and build them sturdier instead of acting surprised their product can't handle heavy, professional use. Long story short: love the remote when it's alive. Hate being gaslit about how often it dies. Great for them, though, because they get recurring revenue from me. Perhaps they should consider offering a subscription model for power users. I'd sign up.
