A few years ago I ordered and installed a few cameras from Eufy. I have noticed over the years that I have not had a single issue with them once they are set up. So I recently purchased additional cameras including this floodlight camera and home base and a monitor. The setup had one issue. The barcode that you have to scan is where you have to hold it in your hands to scan it. So when I hired somebody to install it I did not know that. I ended up having to call the contractor back to help set it up and then he hooked it back up and I've had no issue since. Hooking up the home base and the monitor was a breeze. Everything works extremely well and even does some things I did not realize it could do. Example if you come into camera frame with the Bud light it will track you across my yard and notify the doorbell to start recording when you start to cross its path. I don't know if all of the AI features and everything yet but this thing is smart coming out of the box. These cameras simply always work and do not cost a dime in subscription fees. Their products are simply better in my opinion than the competition.

The Eufy Security E340 Floodlight Outdoor Pan & Tilt Dual Camera is not battery-powered; it needs to plug into AC power with the included power supply, which is 100-240V AC, 50-60Hz. Below, you'll see another Eufy model that is battery-powered and solar-charged, and as long as the solar panel gets two hours of sun per day, it will remain powered: eufy Security S340 Outdoor Pan & Tilt Dual Camera with Solar Panel (B&H # EUT81701W1)

How is the on-board storage managed? Does it automatically overwrite the oldest recordings? Also, can the videos be downloaded?

Yes, you can access recordings from the Eufy App on your phone. Furthermore, the recordings would be overwritten (oldest first) if the storage fills up.
