The front-mounted 1.33x Front Anamorphic Adapter from Laowa enables you to convert your spherical lens to a 1.33x anamorphic squeeze with blue flare effects. Offering coverage for up to full-frame sensors, this adapter mounts on lenses with a front 77mm thread and can be adapted using the included 55, 62, and 77mm rings. It has a minimum close focus of 28.7" and can accept 86mm threaded filters. When used with Laowa Nanomorph lenses, it produces a 2x anamorphic squeeze.

Can I attach this adapter to other 1.5x squeeze anamophic lenses (Blazar Remus) to get the 2x squeeze?

While you could potentially use the Venus Optics 1.33x Front Anamorphic Adapter (Blue) on a Blazar Remus for a 2x squeeze, the adapter is designed to be used with Nanomorph lenses for a 2x squeeze. The BLAZAR LENS 1.35x Anamorphic Adapter, BH #BL135XADPT, would be recommended for 2x squeeze on BLAZAR lenses.

Will these work on cheaper cinema glass like the rokinon dsx lenses? Or will these only work on laowa branded lenses?

Yes, the Venus Optics 1.33x Front Anamorphic Adapter can be mounted on any lenses up to full frame FOV and up to 77mm in front diameter.

The Venus Optics 1.33x Front Anamorphic Adapter (Blue) will work on the Venus Optics Laowa Nanomorph 35mm T2.4 1.5x S35 Anamorphic Lens for the FUJIFILM X-mount. It will produce a 2x total squeeze on the image.

Would this work on a x-h2s with the nanomorphe 35mm 1.5x ? Just wasn’t sure if the 2x squeeze would mess up my aps-c crop

The Venus Optics Laowa Nanomorph 35mm T2.4 1.5x S35 Anamorphic Lens (ARRI PL & Canon EF, Silver Flare) has a 77 mm front ring that would be compatible with the Venus Optics 1.33x Front Anamorphic Adapter (Blue). There should be no issue with its use.
