The rotating ring is specifically designed to retain the axis of the image when changing orientations and shifting. Retaining axis orientation is especially important to achieve perfect stitching for panoramic photography. This shift lens support features precision scales, making precise adjustments much easier. It features an integrated Arca-type foot for easy mounting on most tripod heads.
