The Nightstick LGL-170A Long-Gun / Carbine Weaponlight Kitoffers a powerful output with flexible mounting and switching options. It provides an array of configurations to match your shooting style and loadout.
Included are straight and 45° angled Picatinny rail mounts so you can place the light on your rifle's forend exactly where you need it, without it interfering with scopes or reflex sights, BUIS, lasers, or other peripherals. Its single LED emitter outputs a darkness-piercing 1500 lumens of blinding light that is ideal for searching and clearing rooms. It's controlled by a conventional push button tailcap switch, or you can swap it for the included remote pressure switch. The remote switch has a 6" cable and comes with a wire management clamp to keep the wire tight to the rail and eliminate snag hazards.
Built for daily use, the housing is made from lightweight and durable 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and treated with a scratch-resistant, black anodized finish. It is O-ring sealed to an IPX7 rating, making it waterproof and submersible to a depth of over three feet for up to 30 minutes. To withstand shocks, recoils, and the rigors of action the light is impact-rated to handle drops from heights of almost seven feet. Measuring five and a half inches and weighing seven and a half ounces, the LGL-170 won't add excessive weight or bulk to your rifle.
Adding to its versatility is a dual power capability. It will run on the included rechargeable 20700 li-ion battery or two user-supplied CR123 batteries. If you choose to use CR123 batteries, the output will drop to 1200 lumens. A charging cradle and USB power cord are also included.
