Loved the design feature of being able to lock. I purchased to mount off camera speed lights but was unable to get the speedlite base into the shoe receiver no matter what without attempting modifications. Was hopeful but disappointed
This is a good and solid shoe adapter. Does exactly what it says, holds my monitor in place.
