I work under these lights for many hours a day in a laboratory, doing detailed scalpel work and filming. These Softboxes are easy to put on and off, and create a nice lighting effect that eases the strain on me personally as well.
Yes, it gets the job done, but it looks like garbage. I couldn't believe what I saw when I opened the box. There are no metal arms to spread the box apart, it just hangs on with some velcro. If I am spending $80 on a softbox I would expect some better quality.
