I purchased this lens to experiment with full frame possibilities. Most probably not workable but at the price well worth trying. Expert at B&H did not feel some would work but the low cost makes TTArtisan products worth trying. Terrific lens for the price. I use manual focus about 60% of the time so no biggie there. I just turned 94 so MF no hardship. I still have my lenses from 1969; 24, 50, 105, & 200mm. I go out sometimes & shoot with the Nikon D810 camera. Feel good experience every time To sum up, these inexpensive lenses are excellent value. Eventually it will effect the Japanese oligopily. Just a question of time.

Worst lens I have ever bought

I purchased this and waited a few months before using. The focus scale is so far off it is unusable. When focused at 3 feet, the point of focus is actually about 8 inches. Worthless, completely.

Does the lens come with the nd 1000 filter? If not, what is the front thread diameter for the Sony E mount one?
Asked by: Jeesu
The TTArtisan 7.5mm f/2 Fisheye Lens (Sony E) no longer comes with the ND filter. TTArtisan has discontinued this accessory. The back threads can only have a 26mm outer thread, and the connection for the filter is proprietary; therefore, you cannot connect standard filters.

Asked by: Thoun
The TTArtisan 7.5mm f/2 Fisheye Lens (Nikon Z) will not make a full circle on a full-frame Nikon camera. This 7.5mm f/2 lens is designed for APS-C (cropped sensor) cameras.

The manual focus TTArtisan 7.5mm f/2 Fisheye Lens (Canon RF) is compatible with the Canon EOS R10 Mirrorless Camera. Since the R10 is a cropped sensor camera, you get a rectangular image.

What is the thread size of the center of lense cap? Is it possible to screw a nd filter in front? I'm ok with some vignetting.
Asked by: jean-francois
The front push on cap available with TTArtisan 7.5mm f/2 Fisheye Lens (Canon RF) has a 60mm front thread diameter once you unthread the metal cap. If you are using a full frame camera there is vignetting regardless if the cap is connected or not. If you connect the lens to cameras with aps-c sensors it only vignettes when the cap is connected.
