Still great after one year

It's been one year since I bought this printer. In my review last year, I said I would update after a year, so here's the update.
In short, no regrets at all. The printer did clog once on the Violet channel. It occurred during the very cold winter of 2025-26 in the mid-Atlantic. Humidity dropped down to 10% in the room where the printer was located, and that must have caused the clog. I cleared the clog with a single Power Clean cycle from the touchscreen. Afterwards, I put a humidifier in the room and the printer never clogged again. Try to run the printer at least once a week, even if just to print the nozzle check pattern; this keeps the ink flowing.
I print at the rate of perhaps 3-4 prints a week, most 8" x 10" or larger.
Ink usage is excellent. I'm still using the Photo and Matte Black, Magenta, Cyan, and Violet ink cartridges that came with the printer. Keep in mind the cartridges that came with the printer are less than half the standard cartridge capacity and 50% of their capacity is used by the initialization procedure, so still using 5 of the original 10 cartridges is amazing. Even the one power clean cycle I had to run barely moved the ink gauges.
I'm also using both original Maintenance Cartridges, although the regular one is almost full. I do not print borderless, nor do I recommend you do so, leaving the borderless Maintenance Cartridge 100% unused.
The printer rewards you well if you take printing as a craft really seriously. Although the stock Canson-Infinity ICC profiles are very good, a truly excellent custom profile will extract amazing performance from this printer. I use custom profiles generated for me by Dr. Les Walkling of Les Walkling & Co., a printing consultancy located in Melbourne, Australia. His profiles beat any others I have used, and by a wide margin. I have absolutely no relationship with this company other than as a very satisfied customer.
Mastering the craft of inkjet preparation from shooting through post-processing through printer preparation and finally printing also pays off very well with this printer. Dr. Walkling teaches online courses on all aspects of the craft, and I benefited greatly from taking them. You can also learn a lot from the better YouTube channels such as Dave Kelly, Sean Bagshaw, Michael Shainblum, Todd Dominey, and of course Keith Cooper.
If B&W printing interests you, this printer does work with the famous QuadToneRIP software, although you will need a little bit of web searching to find out how to install it using the install script for the P900 that QuadToneRIP includes (it's simple). My understanding is that you can print digital negatives (DN) using this printer and QuadToneRIP, although I have not done so as I don't have a chemical darkroom.
I returned to making my own inkjet prints after a 10-year absence when I would print my images with various talented print studios. All did an excellent job, but this printer exceeds my print quality expectations in every way, once I took the time to improve my own craft. If your mental image is of one of those finicky inkjets from 2006 or so, with frequent clogs, difficult paper handling, tiny ink cartridges that cost a fortune, ink-guzzling swaps between photo and matte black inks, etc., reconsider. This printer has reawakened my interest in color and B&W inkjet printing and brought me hours of trouble-free enjoyment.

Retired my trusted 4880 to the 7530. Print quality is better, faster, quieter than the 4880. Plus 2 extra ink for better color. Best feature is being able to have roll and sheets loaded and not having to switch things up. Highly like it and recommend so far.
